Film Screening "Microplastic Madness" | Waste Reduction Week in Canada

Film Screening "Microplastic Madness"

Watch a Grade 5 class as they investigate plastic pollution. This film will inspire kids, and lift adults from their climate crisis despair. Whether cataloguing litter from Jamaica Bay, analyzing microplastics, pushing for zero waste lunches and a styrofoam ban, or uncovering the myth of plastic recycling and ethane cracker plants, these kids become sleuth-scientist-activists. The group debates big business, confers with scientists, deputes at City Hall and comes to understand science and systems in action. Informed and capable, the class develops the confidence to take on the big fight for change and their own futures. A film that will inspire kids and lift adults from their climate crisis despair.
