Bea Johnson founder of Zero Waste Home in Hamilton, ON

As part of the Researchers'Night Hamilton 2018, we are THRILLED to welcome BEA JOHNSON for the first time in Hamilton. Named “The Priestess of Waste-Free Living” by the New York Times, Bea Johnson is the renown founder of Zero Waste Lifestyle movement which she started about 10 years ago in California where she resides. She has now presented her "5 Rs" concept to reduce waste (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot) around the world including at the United Nations. Grand prize winner of the "Green Awards" in 2011, her book "Zero Waste Home" has been translated in 20 languages. It is an absolute honour to welcome her in Hamilton for the first time, during the Canadian Waste Reduction Week no less! Do NOT miss this unique conference by a Waste Free superstar!
