Textile Recycling | Waste Reduction Week in Canada

Textile Recycling

Textile and clothing recycling in nothing new, it is what our grandmothers and our ancestors considered normal. But it is becoming a forgotten art in an age of easy retail and fast fashion. Join Jo Duke for a presentation and discussion of the three R’s of textiles: reduce, reuse, and redesign. Everyone is welcome to join the presentation, and if you have your own recycled textile project to share, bring it along!

Jo Duke is a weaver, tailor, fashion re-designer, costume creator, and general textile addict (though not to the extent that she is ready to give up her day job).

This presentation will be taking place over ZOOM. Please REGISTER FOR THE EVENT via our events calendar, here: https://bit.ly/2YYefOe
