Sunday, October 24, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Bronte Beach, Oakville, ON.
Nurdles are plastic pellets used in the manufacture of new plastic goods. Trillions of nurdles are spilled into the environment annually and they are a huge hazard to the natural environment, wildlife, and our water supply.
During our Nurdle Hunt volunteers will be involved in the collection, washing, drying, and counting/weighing of nurdles at Bronte Beach. We will provide the equipment and the hands-on assistance needed to complete the task. Volunteers will be engaged in an interactive learning experience led by our staff.
